Flash Design Phylosophy
My philosophy as a Flash Designer is to create a project that fulfills
client expectations. I create web sites that are functional, usable and
beautiful. Flash is more than just a tool for animation and design. It
is a complete web development platform including graphics, animation,
design and development. It is difficult to create a well-rounded and well
executed flash site.
Functionality:
There are many impressive Flash Sites, beautiful multimedia pieces that
are navigable by the creator alone. Art should never supersede functionality.
I always use common navigation able scenes and organize important information
in the front of the site. Some reports have indicated that 50% of customers
are primarily interested in the phone numbers, emails and directions above
all else. A web site can serve many purposes but it should never loose
sight of the end user and it should strive to meet the needs of the customer
above all else.
Art and Design:
Art and Design are very subjective terms. What one person considers beautiful
may not be considered beautiful by another. The majority of businesses
seek professionalism above all else. I create clean, functional business
design based around a common iconographic lexicon. My design has been
targeted from everything from Fortune 500 companies to Entertainment companies.
